RARE Out-of-Print, Numbered "Venus and Mars" Collectors Set
Wings was flying high in 1975 when it released "Venus and Mars" as a follow-up to the hugely popular popular "Band on the Run." It marked a return to Capitol Records, the US home of The Beatles, and featured the classic lineup of Paul and Linda, Denny Laine, the late Jimmy McCulloch, and Joe English (who replaced Geoff Britton early in the sessions).
The album was #1 around the world and has aged well. This collector's set, originally released back in 2014, is packed with goodies: 2 CDs, a DVD and a beautiful hardcover book with lots of photos, new essays, and loads of memorabilia (like posters, glossy photos, backstage passes and ticket stubs).
Here's a fan's unboxing video from 2014. (We didn't do it; but admire Jordon's thoughtful presentation.)
There are only a few of these unopened sets left. When we look online, we see that they're selling for about $200 -- more than double the original 2014 price -- so ours are a deal. Get it while you can!
