John Lennon poses for a portrait on October 25, 1974, in New York City, New York.
Photographer David Gahr's session with Lennon is considered one of the most iconic and widely recognized of the former Beatle, taken in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, shortly after the release of Lennon’s “Walls and Bridges” album.
Here are a few things you should know:
- The sample you see here is watermarked for security. Your final print won't have the watermark, of course.
- Choose from three sizes, Framed or Unframed, for your print. The sizes for unframed and framed versions are a little different and are printed a little differently.
- Unframed versions are printed on museum-quality archival paper and embossed with "The Estate of David Gahr." They are available in 8.5" x 11"; 11" x 14" inches; and 17" x 22".
- Framed versions will have a black wood frame with a white mat. They are available in 8" x 12"; 12" x 8"; and 16" x 24". There are also three different styles of frames, which you can see below. They are printed on archival, acid-free paper.
